Super schnelle und gut verpackte Lieferung. Das Objektiv kommt in einem stabilen Karton und befindet sich zudem noch in einem kleinen Hartschalencase. Zum Lieferumfang gehört noch ein Ersatz Rückdeckel, was ich persönlich super finde.Das Objektiv selbst ist sehr wertig verarbeitet und lässt sich gut händeln. Die Einstellung läuft sehr weich und der Widerstand lässt sich über einen Ring regulieren. Die Fokussierung erfolgt manuell.Die Abbildungsleistung ist sehr gut. Durch die geringe Schärfentiefe kann man ein wundervoll weiches Bokeh kreieren, was ich gerade in der Pflanzen Fotografie gerne nutze.Also kurz und knapp - das Objektiv ist ein Traum

Ich war aufgrund des geringen Preises skeptisch bezüglich der Qualität, trotz guter Testberichte im Netz.150/200mm Makroobjektive werden ansonsten ja leider nicht mehr für spiegellose Systemkameras gebaut. Wichtig für scheue Insekten, wegen der Fluchtdistanz.Ich betreibe das Objektiv mit Canon EF- Anschluss über einen Sigma- Adapter an L- Mount Vollformat- Kameras von Panasonic. Alles funktioniert völlig einwandfrei, auch die Blendenübertragung und die Anzeigen in den Kameras.Optisch ein wirkliches Spitzenobjektiv. Scharf selbst bei Offenblende, bis zum Rand und vor allem mit einem wunderschönen Bokeh und schönen Unschärfekreisen, selbst abgebrendet bleiben sie schön rund.Der Kontrast im Gegenlicht ist ebenfalls gut.Auch gefällt mir die Arka- Swiss kompatible Stativschelle. Die Schelle lässt sich selbstverständlich drehen, das ist aber etwas hakelig, stört aber nicht besonders.Bei dem Objektiv handelt es sich um ein manuelles Objektiv, ohne AF. Das stört aber weniger, da der Focusring einen großen Radius beschreibt und butterweich läuft. Die Schärfeebene lässt sich sehr gut einstellen. Und ist mit einer guten einstellbaren Focus- Peaking Funktion, wie bei meinen Lumix Kameras sehr gut handhabbar.Es ist natürlich, wie jedes langbrennweitige Makroobjektiv, sehr verwacklungsgefährdet, gut wenn die Kamera einen effektiven internen IBIS besitzt, das ist bei meinen Lumix L- Mount Kameras der Fall.Ansonsten empfehle ich ein Stativ, was ich auch oft mit diesem Objektiv nutze, denn es ist recht schwer.Aktuell nutze ich es oft bei Pilzen im Wald, wegen des wunderschönen Bokehs und der guten Freistellung, aufgrund der langen Brennweite.Meine volle Empfehlung!Bis auf die etwas hakelig zu verdrehende Stativschelle, habe ich nichts zu bemängeln und damit kann ich gut leben. Das Preis/Leistungs- Verhältnis, würde ich als sensationell bezeichnen

It's not just because it's friendlier on the wallet and comes with a warranty – it's because it's a gem I wish I'd discovered sooner. Way sooner (I have been considering it for nearly two years).Let me tell you, this lens is a beauty. It's not just about the exceptional image quality – it's also a pleasure to handle. From the moment you pick it up, you can feel the craftsmanship. And that focus ring? Smooth as butter, precise, and just plain delightful.Speaking of image quality, it's top-notch. Razor-sharp, colors that pop – it's a sight to behold. I often find myself staring at the shots in amazement, wondering if they're straight out of the camera. And distortion? Almost non-existent.Sure, it's manual focus, but hear me out – it's surprisingly enjoyable. It's like I'm more in tune with my work, paying extra attention to every detail. And in the studio, where I spend most of my time, it's a dream. As for live model shoots? I doubt it, it's worth a shot.Now, why did I opt for a longer macro lens? Reflection points. When you're shooting something as small as jewelry, even the slightest reflection can ruin a shot. My Canon 100mm lens had a habit of reflecting the camera back at me, making retouching a chore, let alone lighting setups. But with the Irix 150mm, that's no longer an issue.Looking ahead, I'm hopeful for more macro offerings from Irix. Something wider, perhaps in the 45-65mm range, would be fantastic.So, there you have it – my take as a product photographer.

I have been using now for a week on my sony a7ii with a commulite adaptor.... Everything has been working perfectly and i have had no loud noises like a few others have experienced.. Only noise i had was the focusing ring was making a slight noise the first couple times i used it. That has since disappeared. I bought this for hiking as i felt the sony 90mm was just not a long enought reach for most critters i find... I have not taken it hiking yet but have been using outside handheld and inside my home studio on a tripod. On a sunny day handheld i was able to shoot at f16 iso 400 at 1/500th and get tack sharp beautiful images of flowers. The manual throw on this thing is so wide and i love that. Paired with the focus peaking sony has its makes nailing focus so smooth. The packaging was surprisingly nicer then how most my sony lens arrived. It has a nice feel to it and is very comfortable in my hands. My only complaint so far is they dont make a native e-mount lens.. I want to try there 15mm for Astro but won’t untill they do release a sony version hopefully.Update: I have used this lens now in the field now on many hikes... The only complaint is the grip on the focus ring slides very easily and covers the macro 1:1 ratio numbers... It’s not a huge deal as you just push it back down; but as I hike through out the morning for a bout 6 hours I have to do this about 10 times so it can be annoying... does not affect the lens or anything to Do with how wonderful this lens is to use. Also the focus ring does not make the noise i was getting week one.. I figured that would go away after a few days use. If you are using this lens in the field you may want to use a tripod or mono pod.. It’s heavy after a few hours of hiking... you do not have to as i do not. All my work is handheld but i am sore after a full day of holding it.. I still love this lens and It has yet to come off my sony camera...

Lente eccezzionale, studiata e progettata per fare foto macro, perfetta in tutto. Felice possessore del RF 100 macro Canon che oltre all' ingrandimento maggiore ha un autofocus fulmineo mentre l' Irix è solamente manuale ma uso anche il Canon spesso e volentieri in modalita manuale. Questo ha una staffa per treppiede perfetta, una corsa di messa a fuoco lunghissima e fluida ma si può anche intervenire per renderla un po' più "rigida" ti permette quindi di avere una precisione assoluta di messa a fuoco, ed un ottimo controllo per poter fare focus stacking. Nella ghiera si può leggere non solo l' ingrandimento ma anche la distanza. Resa eccellente già ad f2.8 dimensioni e peso data l' apertura e la robustezza eccellenti. Da usare su cavalletto robusto da più soddisfazione del Canon RF 100 L. Costa 3 volte di meno, peccato sia poco conosciuta. Diaframma ad 11 lamelle ed un bellissimo bokeh. La consiglio assolutamente agli appassionati. Ciao

Par rapport au Canon 100 mm L IS mk II, ce macro est plus léger, 66% moins cher, mieux construit, offre un meilleur bokeh, est plus facile à manier et est livré avec un étui moulé et un collier avec plaque compatible Arca-Swiss.Attention : la focale est 150 mm et la mise au point est manuelle, 2 différences par rapport au Canon. Il n'y a pas de stabilisation d'image. Pour les amateurs de macro, ces différences importent peu, mais pour une utilisation en portrait, il faudrait s'entraîner.La bague de MAP tourne sur 270º. Elle est extrêmement maniable (on peut varier la tension nécessaire et fixer la MAP au besoin). La construction est solide et élégante : métal côté boîtier pour la maniabilité et la rigidité (qui donne une agréable sensation de solidité), plastique vers l'avant pour la légèreté. Seul tout petit bémol, le pare-soleil est un peu cheap et en forme de pétale (donc, moins stable).La qualité d'image est excellente : super net avec un bokeh bien supérieur (à mon avis) au Canon grâce sans doute aux 11 lames (Canon : 9).Malgré le prix alléchant, je ne recommanderais pas cet objectif aux débutants dans la macro ni pour ceux qui veulent l'utiliser pour les portraits. La focale et la MAP manuelle nécessitent une certaine expérience.Un dernier mot pour le vendeur, TOPDeals aux Pays-Bas, qui a réagi vite et bien (et en français !) lorsque Chronopost a perdu le colis, menti quand j'ai appelé et enfin livré le colis malgré toute attente et assez endommagé (emballage secondaire heureusement). Je recommande vivement ce vendeur. Je ne recommande pas du tout Chronopost.
