Auf der Suche nach einer kleinen tragbaren SSD Festplatte, bin ich auf die iDsonix 128GB Externe SSD gestoßen.Die kleine Kompakte SSD Festplatte verfügt über eine Speicherkapazität von 128 GB. Ideale Größe um Fotos von meinem Smartphone zu speichern.Praktisch ist auch die am Gehäuse angebrachte Kordel, hier kann man z.b. mit einem Karabinerhaken, die SSD in der Jacke oder am Rucksack, befestigen.Das mitgelieferte USB Kabel bietet gleich zwei Anschlussmöglichkeiten. USB-A und USB-C , somit passt es in die Lade- und Datenbuchse vom Smartphone.Ich habe die Daten Übertragungsgeschwindigkeit der SSD Festplatte getestet. Diese entspricht genau den angaben des Herstellers, mit 466,66 MB/s Lesegeschwindigkeit und 435,9 MB/s Schreibgeschwindigkeit .Ich bin mit der kleinen kompakten SSD von IDSonix zufrieden. Für meine Zwecke der Datensicherung für Unterwegs, eignet sie sich hervorragend.5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Das Gehäuse dieser Speicherplatte sieht durch das geriffelte Plastik etwas peppiger aus, als ich das von externen Speichern gewohnt bin, aber das ist ja letztlich der unwichtigste Punkt.Wesentlich wichtiger ist, dass so ein Teil seinen Dienst tut.Ich durfte die kleine Einheit mit 128 GB testen - kein Problem; unter Windows läufts problemlos.Verfügbarer Speicherplatz real: 119 GB - also absolut perfekt.Die Datenübertragung funktioniert schnell und reibungslos. Und hier bin ich schon am 5-Sterne-Punkt angelangt.Es kommen aber noch ein paar gute Punkte obendrauf.1. Das mitgelieferte Kabel ist hier kein 0815-Kabel, sondern eines mit richtig schönen farbig metallischen Steckern.2. Für den Anschluss an einem USB-A ist ein ebenso hochwertiger fest verbundener Adapter dabei, den man somit nicht verliert. Und3. gibt es noch eine peppige Trageschlaufe dazu.Die Zusammenstellung finde ich sehr gelungen. Weniger gelungen ist die farbliche Abstimmung aller Teile, von schwarz über braun bis orange alles da - naja, der Welt ist bunt. :DAlles bestens.

Kommt ordentlich verpackt und mit Zubehör: Multikabel und Trageschlaufe. Das Plastikgehäuse wirkt beim Angreifen leider recht billig - andere Hersteller machen das besser. Speicherkapazität wie beschrieben, formatiert mit exFat, soweit alles ganz okay. Die maximale Zugriffsgeschwindigkeit hängt natürlich immer auch vom Anwendungsfall und dem Endgerät mit ab. Für mich wirkt es als Gesamtpaket vollkommen okay. Wer High-End sucht, ist hier falsch.

Ich habe keine Möglichkeit, die Übertragungsrate zu messen. Vom Gefühl her ist die Festplatte schnell. Sie wird ohne Probleme erkannt. Auch bei längerer Benutzung wird sie nicht warm.Jedoch ist die Festplatte für die Speicherkapazität relativ groß. Viele USB-Sticks haben mehr Kapazität und sind kleiner. Für uns ist die Festplatte dazu da, Daten zwischen zwei Rechnern auszutauschen.

Die iDsonix 512GB USB 3.2 Gen 1 SSD ist eine solide Wahl, wenn man eine schnelle und portable Speicherlösung sucht, die einfach funktioniert. Perfekt für alltägliche Anwendungen, wie das Speichern von Medien, Dokumenten und Backups. Sie verfügt über eine USB 3.2 Gen 1 Schnittstelle mit einer maximalen Lesegeschwindigkeit von bis zu 466 MB/s. Das ist für eine externe SSD ein guter Wert und deutlich schneller als eine normale externe Festplatte (HDD), die meist nur um die 100 MB/s schafft. Im Lieferumfang ist ein 2-in-1 USB-C Kabel enthalten, das sowohl USB-C als auch USB-A Anschlüsse unterstützt. So kann man die SSD flexibel mit Smartphones, Laptops, Tablets oder PCs verbinden.

Das Gerät kommt exFAT Formatiert und hat effektiv 119GB Platz. Soweit die Theorie.Direkt beim ersten Schreibversuch (2,7 GB MP4 Datei) brach die Geschwindigkeit von 7MB/s auf 1MB/s ein, dann 0,5MB/s und dann gab es einen "E/A Gerätefehler".Also abgezogen, neu angesteckt, neu Formatiert: nur noch 2,5MB/s - immer langsamer werdend, bis zum nächsten "E/A Gerätefehler".Jetzt wird beim Anschluss zwar noch ein USB-Datenträger erkannt, aber ohne Namen / Inhalt.Kurzerhand habe ich das Kunstwerk geöffnet. Darin findet man wenig moderne Technik: einen USB zu SATA Adapter und eine SATA SSD.Schon aufgrund der Konstruktion würde ich vom Kauf abraten. Die Tatsache das mein Exemplar direkt beim ersten Versuch den Geist aufgegeben hat, spricht auch nicht für Qualität.

Die Versionen unter 512 GB lohnen sich nicht wirklich im Vergleich zu einem schnellen,neuen USB-Stick. Die Übertragungsgeschwindigkeit mag besser sein, aber mit nur z. B.128 GB kann man heute auch nicht mehr viel anfangen. Das Gehäuse klingt sehr hohlund günstig. Wer eine kleine Backup Platte für Fotos sucht oder im Urlaub kurz malsein Handy leer machen möchte ist gut bedient, aber dafür gibt es in dieser Größegute und schnelle Sticks die dann auch an den Schlüsselbund passen. Die iDsonix 128GB Externe SSD, USB 3.2 Gen 1 bis zu 466MB/s, SSD Festplatte Extern mit 2 in 1 USB C Kabel, Portable SSD für USB-C Smartphone, PC, Tablet, Laptop - i5PLUS kommt in einem Karton beim Käufer an.Die SSD wird mit der USB Schnitsstelle betrieben, ermöglicht somit keine Mega Geschwindigkeiten mehr. Knapp 500 MB/S in Lesen und Schreiben gehen aber. 128GB sind eher für Office Laptops mit wenig Speicherbedarf konzipiert oder für das transportieren kleinere Dateien.Der Preis ist mit ca. 20€ aber sehr günstig. 5 Sterne.

This ssd is pretty decent for the price. I didn't the mentioned transfer speeds during testing. However, if transferring large files the fastest transfer rate only lasts for the first few seconds. Once it gets past that the transfer rate throttles by a lot. Windows states the usable capacity of this drive is 119gb. I ran a few H2testw tests to make sure the usable capacity of the drive that was reporting to windows was accurate. This drive passed all tests just fine. In addition I've used it to transfer large video files between a friend of mine that helps me edit youtube content, and no files have been corrupted or gone missing yet after many lengthy transfers. Upon opening the device you'll find a fairly standard laptop sized sata ssd without a dram cache, so I wouldn't rely on this for a main backup or fast transfers. Without that dram cache the life span of the ssd will be lower than an ssd with one, and it explains the slower transfer speeds as well as the throttling. For general use no dram cache is perfectly fine though. It's perfect for sloppy small file transfers of data that's backed up elsewhere and general data storge of things that may not be detrimental to lose in the event of a drive failure. You can use it for larger file but just be prepared to set it and walk away because it takes a while. The small size, tough brushed aluminum case and included clip make this an excellent choice for general school or college use, just make sure you have your homework backed up to your school's cloud storage as well.

I got this hard drive to back up some photos from an old cell phone, and it worked quite well. I had upgraded to a newer phone, since the old one started having issues with the USB board, and could not reliably be charged anymore. I wanted a small drive that had both USB A and C adapters, and this one worked very well for this purpose.I initially tested it on my new phone and laptop to ensure everything worked properly, since I assumed there could be intermittent connectivity issues with the old phone. With working USB devices, the transfer speed is quite good, and it performed better than expected with my old phone. It took longer on the old phone due to the phone’s USB issues, but I was able to get all the images loaded onto the hard drive. For less than $20 it was well worth the money.

Works well for what it is, an older generation SSD with limited cache. This is good for storing small files with good transfer speeds. We larger files or folders full of files the speed and caching will slow down the transfer with periodic spikes in speed. Given the price point I still feel this is a good value for basic storage needs and comes with a paracord lanyard attachment.

This is a quick USB SSD. I've tested it on my PC and also on my Android phone, Samsung S22, and it works with both. It's fast for transferring photos and videos. It's odd, though, the reported size is different on both devices. It's only a few MB off, but I thought they would match. When you account for formatting, it's true to its 512 GB size, and it's fast. It comes with a lanyard, I suppose, is the best term; it might be a friendship bracelet. The USB-C to USB-A Adapter is also included and works well. The build quality and thoughtful add-ins make this a top-notch USB HDD in my books.

The drive comes pre-formatted with the exFat format and has 119 GB available after format. Using the test program CrystalDiskMark 8.0.5 and with the drive connected to my PCs USB 3.0 port, I got Read speeds of 452 MB/s and Write speeds of 430 MB/s. My results are a bit lower than the advertised R/W specs of 466/450 MB/s but that is probably due to using a USB 3.0 connection instead of a USB 3.2 connection. The drive comes with an attached USB-C to USB-A adapter which allows you to connect to devices with either port. There is also a lanyard included which some may find useful but I'll never use.
